My 2017 wedding season started off in the BEST way possible by photographing a wedding at the Popponessett Inn on Saturday May 27th!! I got to accompany the super awesome Jessica Connery Photography of Orlando Florida at the wedding of Kelsey + Matt. Kelsey and Matt were an amazing couple! Super down to earth and the day was perfect in every way!
I started out with Matt, his groomsmen and parents at a cute beach cottage for getting ready photos. We then met Kelsey and Jessica at an adorable foot bridge across the street from the beach. Kelsey and Matt had an emotional first look and then we crossed the street for some beach portraits. Beach formals and more portraits were done at the beach behind the Popponessett Inn. There was a threaten of a rain storm almost all day but you really couldn’t have asked for better weather with blue skies and a nice coastal breeze. Matt and his groomsmen had me in stitches all afternoon, and Kelsey and her bridesmaids and her sister were a hoot!
We left the Poppy for a ceremony at Christ the King Church in Mashpee that was both touching and personal. I loved getting to know all Kelsey and Matt’s wedding guests and family members. Everyone was so welcoming and made my job so fun and easy at the cocktail hour for portraits of the guests and during the reception. I am a better person for having met and photographed this couple.
